Culford

Walking backwards to Christmas (faith in practice)

12-19 August (Sun-Sun)

All-age      Fully catered

"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us."

Working with the feasts, symbols and traditions of Christmastide we will be exploring the Incarnation.

Christmas has been the subject of all forms of art, music, story and poetry. Working with some of these forms, we will unpack together our understanding of this great doctrine sharing our insights so that each of us might begin to uncover how we respond to the Good News of the Incarnation and how this response manifests in our daily life.

After all Christ is for life not just for Christmas.

Join us for Christmas - in August; a fun filled week packed with festive liturgy, prayer, reflection, discussion and workshops.

Chair: Rebekah O'Keeffe

Organisers: Steve & Esther Annis

Chaplain: Peter Hunter OP

Chief Helpers: Louise Higgins & Shaun Elliot

Culford School sits in 480 acres of parkland by Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The main hall was built as the ancestral home of Marquis of Cornwallis; the school was founded in 1881. We will be staying in purpose-built boarding houses offering a superb range of single, double and large room accommodation, some with en-suite. It is well suited for people with disabilities and there is access to the school's sports and other facilities.
