Render unto Caesar

4-11 August (Sat-Sat)

All-age      Fully catered

'Give back to Caesar what belongs to Caesar - and to God what belongs to God'. (Matthew 21:22)

The Bible, bankers, investment ethics and protest – charting a path through the morass….

This CPW will reflect, with the help of a variety of well-informed speakers, on the economic crisis, the ethical re-examination of western business and lifestyles, the protest against it and what we have learned. We will reflect on Biblical and Catholic social teaching, and consider alternative and sustainable lifestyles - the mind changes that we need to help us move forward with hope.

With high profile events challenging our trust in institutions - Church or Political - at present, we will reflect on how we can begin to strengthen our resolve - to save ourselves and the planet!

Chair: Cathy Scott
